Wednesday morning Bible Study at Dakota City UMC began in 2004 with about a dozen women. Karen McClain started this group and still leads it with help from the Holy Spirit, Pastor and class members.  Initially we met at Dakota Perk [previously Katch-a-Kup] from 2004-2019. When Covid arrived, we took a break. As the epidemic was slowing down, we began meeting at Dakota City UMC Fellowship Hall where we currently meet every week. The group now has twenty-eight members including those from several denominations and this year two men have joined us. We do two, twelve-week studies each year with extended Christmas and winter breaks and a summer break. Our Bible studies have included works by Women of Faith, Max Lucado, David Jeremiah, and others.
